The "GES-System" is an underground radar system designed to detect obstacles in front, displaying their presence and distance. It detects the existence of obstacles such as underground piles and large boulders by receiving electromagnetic waves reflected from them. The display method includes alarm sounds and warning screens. Additionally, it detects the reflection waves generated from layers of mud, water, and ground around the shield machine to identify ground boundaries.
